All items below are in effect unless otherwise agreed on. Hiring Eyecon Video Productions constitutes that you agree to all the terms and conditions below.
Overall
Please notify us immediately if your schedule should change. We are obligated to charge a fee for short-notice cancellations to compensate for lost bookings and lost wages for freelancers.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, half of the total proposed amount is due at the beginning of a project. Payment for the second half is due upon completion of the project or within 30 days of the first invoice, whichever comes first.
Not included are craft services (food), courier charges, tape/disc costs and any extras requested by the client not agreed upon or last minute schedule changes and necessary taxes.
Once payment is made in full, the client retains all rights to the final master and its content.
Studio Shooting
Rates based on 10 hour day. Studio strike must take place within a 10 hour day to avoid overtime charges. Overtime is billed at time and a half for the first four hours, then double time for 5 hours and beyond. The studio and offices are expected to be in the same condition when you leave as they were when you arrived. If not, there will be a $60/hr cleaning fee. After hours and weekends: Costs for weekdays before 7am and after 6pm – $150/hr above day rate. Costs for weekends and holidays will be billed at $250/hr above day rate. Prelight is billed at 75% of day rate. Prebuild is billed at 65% of day rate. Cost per meal is billed at $13 per crew member. Each daily studio rental requires a Studio/Production Assistant at $350/day. Cyc wall paint must be returned to white using our paint. Return to white including labor is $485.
Cancellation Policy
50% charge on 48 to 25 hour cancellation notice, 100% charge on 24 hour or less cancellation.
Production and liability insurance is not included. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Multi-Camera Shooting
Crew call time is minimum 2 hours before roll time. Any additional pre-production (creation of titles, graphics, video clips, still images, etc) will be billed at $100/hr.

Rates based on 10 hour day.
Shooting
Same Day Cancellation: 100% of the rate quoted.
Less than 24 hours Cancellation: 50% of the rate quoted.
Half Days/Full Days:
A half day is 0-5 hours from crew call time to the completion of wrap.
A full day is 5-10 hours from crew call time to the completion of wrap.
Multiple partial days cannot be combined.
OVERTIME:
Overtime is billed at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate beyond 10 hours. Time begins at the crew call time and ends at the completion of wrap. For shoots outside of Dallas, Tarrant and Collin Counties, start time begins when leaving these Counties and ends when returning to one of these Counties.
MILEAGE:
Mileage will be billed at 55.5 cents per mile (or current IRS mileage rate) per crew member for vehicle travel beyond Dallas, Tarrant and Collin Counties.
TRAVEL TIME OUTSIDE OF NORTH TEXAS:
Travel days within the continental US are billed at 50% for both crew and equipment. Days qualifying as travel days must be either the first and/or last day of a shoot, and may not begin earlier than 3 p.m. on the day before the first production day. Travel time per day may not exceed 5 hours. Travel days between production days on extended shoots, travel days beginning earlier than 3 p.m. on the day before the first production day, and travel days over 5 hours in length are billed at full day rate. Travel time on the same day as production, either before or after working production hours, are counted as regular work hours; regular crew overtime rates will apply for hours after 10.
Not included are all transportation, customary tipping, hotel or car rental costs outside the DFW Metroplex.

Same Day Notice: 2 hours at full hourly rate.
Within 24 hours notice: 1 hour at full hourly rate.
